The NYC Parks Enforcement Mounted Auxiliary Unit is a volunteer program and a federally recognized 501(c)(3) organization. Our work is completely financed by our members and public donations. Our funds are used to support the health and well-being of the Parks Mounted Unit's horses and training for the Auxiliary Officers, and to supplement the budget of the NYC PEP Mounted Unit as needed, especially for purchasing horses and equipment.

We also made a substantial contribution toward building stables for the PEP Mounted command in Central Park (read more here) and recently purchased a new horse trailer for the Bronx command.
